Married in Berdichev
Married in Berdichev is the solo music project of Brittany Gould, begun in 2006. The work moves between song, abstraction and environment, using live looping, layered vocal processing, noise and feedback loops to build dense, immersive compositions. Improvisation has remained central to the project, which has taken shape through both recordings and live performance. Married in Berdichev has performed throughout the United States and Europe.
Caldera Lakes
Caldera Lakes is the collaborative project of Brittany Gould and Eva Aguila, formed in 2008. Built largely through improvisation, the duo combines layered and looped vocals with harsh noise, feedback and electronics, moving between fragility, density and extreme volume. Their work has taken shape through live performance and a series of releases on labels including Deathbomb Arc, Blackest Rainbow, Ecstatic Peace! and Død Universe.
